If you didn't enjoy the game enough to start over again, why did you buy it on another platform? I can understand wanting to continue where you left off on your ps3 account, but really, if you liked the game that much that you brought it on another platform, is just playing the game and enjoying it, that big a deal? Is not converting your ps3 save going to stop you from playing it on pc? If so, that's kind of stupid in my opinion.
But I didn't waste my money on something i won't play because i can't figure out how to convert my save file, so it's not really my problem. If you didn't enjoy the game enough to start over again, why did you buy it on another platform? Cuz pc is far supperior to consoles. You get a far more richer experience with better graphics and smoother fps, unlike that 30 capped stuff:/ no offence to console owners, i own a bunch myself, even started on the attari2600 but it's a fact that pc is better simply because of the hardware and support that is offered. I do have an alternative idea, take the character you want to have converted, copy all of the weapon, shield, class mod etc codes onto a.txt and then make a new character on the pc, then just edit the level to that of the one on your ps3 save and add in all the weapons, only thing is you will have to go through the game so maybe in gibbed unlock the subsiquent playthroughs that you have completed on your ps3, let me know if this works, and don't listen to these guys.

US Profile works 100% EU Profile. Borderlands 2 - Profile Editor. It will not work on your PS3 profile. Xbox 360 Borderlands 2 - GPD Editor v2.3.0.5.

I'll pose this question to you though since we're in agreeance that, pc is just superior, cause console plebs. & apparently we both started our gaming careers on the atari2600 so i respect that♥♥♥♥♥♥ but since we both agree console is sub par when compared to pc, would borderlands 2 not be WORTH the replay?
And if you're really that pressed for time, this maybe a solution to not being able to convert your save file. Fact is you're already using a cheat program to convert the save, so why not just 'replicate' your save by giving yourself the appropriate level and gear that you had on ps3?My point still stands though, like if you enjoyed playing the game, it's really not that big a deal. Besides, RNG can be a cruel ♥♥♥♥♥ mistress when it comes to farming weapons, some playthroughs you get all the luck, other times, you don't. Starting over could be the best. Or worst thing to happen to you, lol.
Was your gear that good that it was worth worrying about losing? & if your using a cheat program to replicate the gear you had, are you honest enough to ONLY use it for that?
I doubt it, not because i don't believe in you personally op, but because i find the human race to be full of♥♥♥♥♥♥at the best of times. Originally posted by:Agreed, they are free to do as they see fit with their cash, as far as the questioning i'm only trying to understand the logic, cause at the moment i'm not sure i do. I'm not sure op even does. I bought it on pc because i wanted to play the dlc.I'm going to assume that means you didn't own the dlc on ps3, and got the goty edition on pc, seriously just play the game you brought to enjoy. What's the issue? Hell i'll even start over with you, have one of every charachter (except krieg) ready to start over again because i enjoyed the game that much and i'm waiting on #3 to come out once gearbox stop working on battleborn, cause the pre-sequel just didn't do it for me, although i'm willing to grind through that in the mean time aswell lol. That's rich coming from the guy whos very posts are centred around sharing the opinion and berating the OP for wanting to know how to import a PS3 save file over to PC version. Rather than answering the question you were busy sharing your very strong opinion from the start that the OP should just restart If OP prefers to import over restarting, it's not your place to just tell them to 'just play' or question their purchase/circumstances if it isn't relevant. EDIT: Also don't flame the OP about cheating when it was someone else who suggested that. Originally posted by.I believe i asked the OP, but thanks for sharing your opinion. I do see your point and understand it, I was under the impression that in this case OP didn't wish to replay the entire game, though yeah I do see your point, re-living the experience on a superior platform, enjoy the moments how you would remember them, but better hardware and support to go along with it. Katatonia discouraged ones rar. Completely OP's choice. I also like what you said about the human race being full of♥♥♥♥♥♥ aint that the truth. I just tried to offer my help or guidence, OP can do with that- what he wishes. Obviously if he has a job/ family to look out for I could understand completely why he may not actually have the time to play through it again, and want to pick up where he left off, on the other hand the feeling of progression when thinking about it (to me at least, not sure about about anyone else but hey) is a very rewarding experience.

I too, like many others out there im sure, agree with your point that The pre sequel just didn't cut the pizza the way we liked it. It was a shame to see that side of the dev team get shut down, i'm sure it could of had some potential. None the less, looking forward to borderlands 3.
