Did you read the radio via the CPS to start with, or use a template codeplug? The GP388Plus is not an EMEA radio. It is an Asia region radio.

If you are using EMEA CPS it won't allow you to make changes etc. BW Hi BW thanks for ur reply i read it with the provided software i read it and saved it a feww times worked fine had 25 frequencies in it and when i started playing with modes cause i noticed that dial had 16 positions on it so i figured it was like the older motos it would scan only 16 when i divided the frequencies inti zones i got that eeprm cs error now it won,t read Logged. Yup its corrupted. You need to try and force a good codeplug onto it. One you saved before you made these changes that caused the problem! Open the codeplug and try and write a codeplug to it, it might take more than a few goes, but it might work.

If that does'nt work I don't know what to suggest. All of my radios are UK (EMEA) so if I ever manage to screw a radio up I could give it to my dealer to sort.
