My first 775 had a 14xx serial number and I purchased it in late 1996. Would say 1600 is probably around early to mid 1997. Harry WE1X Tom Rauch: I wouldn't own a 775 DSP if someone gave it to me.

If you work CW or work DX operating split you are begging for problems. They are OK for SSB use but they have keying and birdie problems on CW. I had a new one and it was the worse radio I ever owned for what I do, weak signal CW work.
